Invoice Sets & Pads (NCR)

NCR duplicating sets are the quick and simple solution when several copies of a document are required.

An NCR set consists of at least two sheets. They rely on pressure to transfer an image from the top to subsequent sheets. They can be used with a ball point pen or using an impact printer such as a Dot Matrix or Daisy Wheel.
Please note: NCR sets do not work with Ink Jet or Laser Printers.

The amount of pressure required to form an adequate copy on the bottom sheet increases with the number of sheets in the set. For this reason sets should not normally be more than four sheets. Sheets are available in the following colours:- White, Yellow, Pink, Blue and Green. Please ask for special colour combinations. We suggest you use yellow as the bottom sheet as this is easier to read if the pressure used to write out the document is not hard enough.

NCR sets are supplied ready to use as individual sets as standard. These can be made into pads or books if required. There are a number of other finishing options available such as numbering, drilling and perforating.

Crash Numbering
We can ‘Crash Number’ sets. The number is applied by impact on the top sheet and transfers to the other sheets using the self impression property of the set. Any range of 3 to 7 digit numbers can be set.

Perforation
You may wish to have your sets perforated. This is usually only done in books where the top sheet is perforated and the bottom sheet is not, so the bottom sheet stays in the book - i.e. receipt book.

Drilling
You may wish for your sets to be drilled which will save you hole punching them at a later stage.
